I just finished Day 2 of the Advanced Cornering Class with Superbike Coach, and I’m beyond impressed. This class was a game-changer for me especially when it came to counter-steering, uber steering, and most importantly, overcoming my anxiety while riding. Coach doesn’t just throw generic advice at you. He watches your lines, body language, and attitude on the track and gives you personalized coaching that’s honest and direct. No sugar-coating here. he tells you exactly what you’re doing wrong because he genuinely wants you to be safe and skilled, whether you're riding on the street or the track. What really sets this class apart is how fun and exciting it is. You’re not just learning, you’re experiencing the joy of riding in a way that makes you look forward to Day 3 or even signing up for track days at Thunderhill. Honestly, I don’t get how some “influencers” get attention online while spreading nonsense BS about riding techniques. If you want real, effective, and safe riding skills, Superbike Coach is where it’s at. Highly recommend this to anyone serious about improving their riding. You’ll leave with more confidence, better technique, and a huge smile under your helmet. danielle lewis2025-05-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. You can say coach has a ego but it is offset by his candid down to earth conversations. If you can take what he says as a whole, you will understand the significance of the fear and anxiety conversations. He is approachable, he listens, and has some great feedback and insights when you ask. If you have a question, he will answer it candidly and thoughtfully. He is as open to help you as you are willing to listen and act on his insights. During sessions, if you go and talk and observe other sessions with him, he will tell you what they are doing wrong in such a way that you can reflect it back to your own riding session and correct where you are going wrong. He will ask you questions to help you reflect on your session and what you are doing. Biggest advice I can give, leave the ego, emotion, and need to be complimented at the door. If you can do that, you will learn a lot. If your expecting to be told exactly what you need to improve as a individual, id suggest one on one training. This is a class environment with a lot going on. Much of what he is teaching needs to be taken and applied and or reflected on. Overall, some of the best training, insights, and reality checks I have had to date. Axel Padilla2025-05-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. You can't learn from YouTube or book, you need to practice it for real and a track is the best way to do it. Superbike-Coach's information is top notch. You get plenty of track time, and the tight corners of the little 99 are a real challenge, prefect for honing your skills. I particularly enjoy doing go-kart tracks for skill acquisition, because of the relatively low speeds, you can push your skill set in the safest environment possible. I have taken cornering day one twice, and can't wait to take days two and three. Then private lessons, each class is less than a track day ticket somewhere else! His track days at thunderhill are in extremely inviting environment for first-time track riders. Riding on a full-size track as part of a track day can be very intimidating. However the superbike coaches rookie track day class is a fantastic introduction. I am planning on going twice a year from now on. My wife and I both overcame a skills plateau we were stuck on. For me it was vision skills, for her it was the ideal race line. Both of us took a step forward thanks to the Superbike-Coach, and that was just cornering day one! Some people complain about Coaches gruff style, but I say he gives the appropriate amount of emphasis on dangerous situations. Even if you wanted to nitpick the "drill sergeant" style, I say you're not going to get better information, or as much track time for less money than this! His style may not be for everyone, but his information, the quality of the lessons, and the low price point far outweighs any personality complaints. I DO NOT agree with that criticism, but it's something that the negative reviews mention, so I put in my two cents on the topic. And professional photos are free! I was comfortable enough to be able to wheelie and drag a knee thanks to him, he's very patient, very knowledgeable and can easily tell what you need to do to improve. It's also a very fun experience, highly recommend it. Coach Can is awesome, the staff is super nice and the track is a lot of fun while providing a great learning opportunity! Every moment I spent on the track was so valuable—I both enjoyed it and improved my riding. Seeing how small adjustments can make a big difference taught me a lot. Thank you so much for your effort and support Evan Duffey2025-05-08Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just took Coach Cam's cornering school day 1. The last time I received motorcycle instruction was an msf course 10 years ago, and I was looking for more skill progression than parking lot cones. I had a great time! The staff all care about your experience and ensuring you are learning. We arrived, grabbed breakfast (provided donuts) and got to learning. Coach's teaching style is honest and blunt, no sugar coating or undeserved praise. Classroom sessions required engagement from students which reinforced learning and kept attention. Track time was focused with instructor feedback. Track facilities aren't glamorous but I appreciated the tight track that was easily looped, clean bathrooms and shade for class. I left the course feeling more confident, with tips on adjusting my bikes controls which have paid off immediately, and much smaller "chicken strips" earned by better technique. I have already registered for cornering school day 2 and 3 and his track rookies class and look forward to them. I've been riding for 8 years and have over 60,000 miles and spending 1 day with Coach Can has boosted my cornering confidence to a new level! I felt improvement from the start of the day to the finish and I'm itching to get out there and practice. This is a great class for ALL riding levels - Coach put you into groups based on experience level and every single rider out there can benefit from focusing on the basics of cornering, regardless of how experienced a rider you think you are. I'm looking forward to Cornering Day 2! Holli Pruhsmeier2025-05-05Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. An awesome, educational class that I would highly recommend to riders of all levels of experience! I had been riding for about 5 years and my partner for 17 years and we really enjoyed this class and took so much away from it. Being able to ride on the small go kart track and practice cornering, vision awareness, and riding lines was essential for my growth as a rider and helped me get over a small mental wall that I have had for the past year. The coach and team were helpful, passionate, and extremely supportive. The coaching style may not be for everyone since it is gruff, but I really enjoyed it and like the reality it puts your mindset into for the dangers and the skillsets that are essential to stay alive and prepare yourself for the unexpected issues on the road. Also, really excited to get the professional photos when they come in!Load more
