Vivian2025-01-27 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently took the Super-Bike Coach cornering class as a new sport bike rider with less than a year of experience, and I can’t recommend it enough! Coach Can and the entire team are absolutely fantastic. They create such a welcoming and supportive environment, no matter your skill level. The class was packed with practical knowledge, hands-on exercises, and personalized feedback that really boosted my confidence on the bike. What sets this class apart is the team’s attention to detail and their passion for teaching. Everyone is approachable, professional, and genuinely invested in helping you become a better rider. The icing on the cake? The professional photographs they provide at the end. It’s so cool to have high-quality shots of yourself in action! If you’re looking to level up your riding skills, this is the place to do it. I’ll definitely be back for more classes! Christopher Whipple2024-12-15 Recently completed cornering day 3, and it was an awesome learning experience just like days 1 and 2. The entire series was thorough, well-structured, and helped me significantly improve my confidence and technique on the bike, GP style. Coach Can and his coaches gave great feedback throughout and do a great job of making the class entire course challenging but fun as well. Going to definitely sign up for the body position course next! Henry Marsden2024-12-12 I like Coach's direct style of training to the class sharing his on track GP racing experience in Europe and motorcycle techniques on the track. We did not get overwhelmed with information in day 1 cornering class and spent plenty of time on the track to practice what we learned in the classroom. Each time our group went onto the track, you could really see the riders improvement and confidence. See you at day 2 & 3 cornering class. Cheers- MNans2024-12-11 After completing cornering school Days 1-3 I can confirm this is an excellent program. 13 years of riding taught me a lot of these lessons the hard way. I wish I took this course sooner and I'm committed to learning more from coach Can. I also took the suspension course and I’ve learned to incorporate feeling into my riding and read what the bike is telling me thanks to his course. If you are serious about getting better at riding take any of these classes. Daniel Clemens2024-12-09 I attended Cornering Day 1, 2 & 3 and coach Can and his team covered a wide range of topics and techniques that will be valuable for my street riding and will also help prepare me for a future track day. Coach and everybody on his team care about each student and gave valuable feedback with each drill. I can highly recommend taking their classes and wish I would have done this sooner. Jimmy duong2024-12-09 12/8/24 Update Day 3 completed was packed with even more amazing content. I walked away with a better understanding of trail breaking and controlling the ideal line with brake vs throttle control. coached saved the best for last as always with “Uber Braking”. Imagine going a blind corner at a full lean angle and a “white Prius” is dead stop mid corner. You don’t have room to steer anywhere however, with this new survival skill, I can come full lean to a complete stop within 1 bike length! 12/1/2024 Update Completed day 2 of cornering course and added 1 more surviving tool into my belt “Uber Steering”. Taking the bike from a full left lean transition to full right. If braking won’t do, then tread the needle to stay alive! Looking forward to day 3. 11/3/24 Update Just returned from Thunderhill Raceway that was organized by Superbike Coach. Coach Can went over critical material in between our 20 minutes track session. His team were on the track to monitor safety and showed us the race line like a personal one on one. You can't complaint about the complimentary professional pictures that makes you look like Marc Marquez. If you are looking to get into track or want to safely push your limit, then I recommend joining Superbike Coach track day. I recently got back into motorcycle after a long 20 year break. The class was taught by coach Can, a true veteran in the racing industry with actual racing experience. He actually had a book publish regarding his time in the Moto racing and won multiple races. It was a no brained for me. If you want to be one of the best (or ride safe and have fun) then you must learn from the Pro like Coach Can and his team. His approach is very different but that’s what makes his class so memorable and interesting. YouTube and book don’t even come close to what he is willing to share during his class. When he said “you better book the next course now” he was not kidding. He is book solid and Lee his class to a minimal student count to ensure you get some one on one time. You will either love him or hate him (in a good way) but I’m the end, he will keep you alive and teach you the “professional” way to ride safe with crazy speed. You think you know the line to select, he will show you a different and better/safer line to pick. I already signed up for part 2 and 3 of the cornering school in addition to other course being offered by Coach Can. Update repeat course: I repeated day 1 and 2 already and it’s amazing how much more improvement I made. I am much faster now and able to understand a lot more going around again. If you are serious about being safe on the motorcycle, then try at least 1 course and see how much you will get out of it. It’s eye opening. Another 5 stars in my book. Ride safe out there everyone. Update 1/14/2024 Repeated day 3 and again day 1 of cornering school with my Red Ducati. I am amazed at how much improvement I have made since I first started. I was in “C” group way before and now have graduated to “A” group. I feel so much more confident in turns and braking. Repeating is Key. I’m using most of my tire’s edge now and having so much fun on this little track. Don’t hesitate and make the drive/ride to see Coach Can. It’s a life saving experience! Update 6/23/24 Repeated day 3 again. It was well over 100 degrees and Coach was standing out there in the blazing sun to give us individual feedback. He also push himself to perform live demo run despite his recent injury. He is committed to ensure we become safe riders. If you are serious about improving your skill and getting personal feedback, then you must give Coach Can a try. You won’t find a better value from a pro rider willing to share his knowledge. I still remember the first day when I was in C group (white Ducati). I kid you not, I have now moved to “A” group (red Ducati) and able to keep up with some of them. My riding skill has improve by 200% and I still got a lot to learn. I’m using my body efficiently and reducing lean angle (safer) at right speed! Alvin Yates2024-12-05 Been to the first Corning School class as well as the suspension workshop. Coach Can and the rest of the team at SBC are absolutely amazing at what they do and make sure that the time we get is focused, well-spent, and accommodating for anyone who is motivated enough to be there. Little 99 is an amazing teaching venue and they make use of the space well. Incredible value for money, and an absolutely essential set of classes available for anyone who really wants to better understand both their motorcycle and riding alike. Speaking as a casual rider and commuter, nothing in the class has ever felt like it didn't apply to how I ride. Just do the class already. ---- Update 12/4/2024 Finished Cornering Day 2. For those of you who claim that these techniques are mostly track focused, you've missed the point. Let me explain. Day 2 naturally builds on Day 1, but there are three things that are absolutely critical for you to learn. Pay attention to your path. See the gap. Ignore everything else. What counter steering actually means. How to actually "swerve" (The Uber steering). I had just finished Day 2 and was on my way back home via I-205 merging onto I-580. It's a fair amount of traffic, but generally moving, and I'm changing lanes to the far side. Check my blind spot, steer right, add lean, moving into Lane 2 through a normal car-sized gap behind a literal White Prius. As I get into the lane, the Prius hits the brakes for apparently no real reason. A simple lane change has now turned into something far more. I now have half a car length to not slam directly into a stupid white trunk. Gap: Force the lane split, sliding between this F-150 and the brake lights. More lean, uber steer, steer left. No crashing, no clipping. On a track, (I assume) things happen quickly because you're moving at a high rate of speed. On the road, things happen quickly because nature and people are erratic and unpredictable. Either way, you still need to be able to throw your bike around, no matter what it is, because that's the only thing that keeps you safe when Things Happen. Coach Can says racing is an hour of Emergency Braking. But I don't think that's entirely true. It's an hour of constant emergency maneuvers that require immense practice, skill, and athleticism to achieve with high consistency and fluency. No one is asking you to become a professional racer. But you should want to be able to access that same skillset, when it matters most, because you've practiced it and learned it enough that it sits somewhere in your brain, with someone who can tell you exactly what you're doing wrong and why. The Little 99 track just happens to be where you're learning those skills. Or you can slam into a Prius going home on a Sunday night. Sort yourself out. Take the classes. Finish the series. Darren H2024-12-03 Review of Superbike Coach Motorcycle Cornering Class - Day Two: I just completed Day Two of the Superbike Coach motorcycle cornering class, and it was nothing short of exceptional! We were fortunate with the weather; the sun came out just in time, creating the perfect backdrop for a day of learning and riding. We started the day by reviewing what we covered on Day One, which helped reinforce our skills. The training was intense but incredibly rewarding, as we delved into important concepts like focus and managing distractions, all while running the course backwards. It was both challenging and fun, especially with the coaches trying to distract us to simulate real-world conditions! Some of the highlights of the session was our exploration of counter-steering, body positioning, and, "Uber steering." Initially, some of the techniques felt a bit awkward, but I trusted my coach and pushed myself to follow his guidance. I really enjoy the process of improving as a rider, and this class has helped me identify unconscious habits that I can now address for a safer and more effective riding style. The day was packed with valuable lessons, from understanding the mechanics of speed to techniques for executing turns, all delivered with the exceptional personality of our coach "Can Akkaya". His enthusiasm made the experience not only educational but also a lot of fun! Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my day at the Superbike Coach program. With so many options available, it's clear that this organization stands out for its commitment to rider safety and skill development. I highly recommend the Superbike Coach program to anyone looking to improve their riding skills—it's an incredible investment in your motorcycle journey! Darren H Mindaugas Satas2024-11-27 Day 1 class for me was highly informative, Coach Can answered all my questions, got great advice that improved my riding and self confidence in handling the bike while taking corners and overall.
