The why is important as to understand or replace bad information from less reliable or reputable sources. He guides you on each pass / attempt and gives corrective instruction so that you progress throughout the class and quickly recognize any mistakes or miss-steps you make. I will be taking this class again, to build on what I have learned and refine / improve my technique. Sean2025-09-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just attended Superbike-Coach Can's Body Position and Knee Down class, and holy moly it was bad arse - not easy, but wow-level incredible! I have attended a number of his other classes in the past, and they have all been incredible, but this particular class was definitely the most challenging mentally and physically, and possibly was the most exciting of them yet. Although, I should mention that I definitely wouldn't have gotten nearly so much out of it if I hadn't already done his 3-day cornering class, which IMO every rider should attend! All I can say is Coach Can is as blunt as they come (because he truly cares), but if your ego can handle it, him and his awesome team will bring your motorcycle riding to an entirely different level, as long as you are willing to put in the effort! I can honestly say that I have learned more in Superbike-Coach classes than I have in years of riding on my own and with friends, and I wish that this incredible level of training was somehow mandatory for all riders, as it makes expensive MSF classes look like a complete joke! This would save countless lives! Sue Westwood2025-09-22Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Never thought I could do a wheelie, but coach and the team showed me how to make it happen. Will be back for more training! Learn how to do so properly, safely and with confidence. The Knee Down Class starts with you as a student moving into proper body position, speed and lines. You will learn IF you accept instruction, increase your corner speed and body position for races. Coach Can is the real deal! You will walk away dragging a knee in a corner with absolute confidence! Amazing experienced coach who gives you exactly what instruction you need. Has the experience to back his class. Direct. Highly recommend cornering 1, 2 & 3 if you want to be a better rider and racer. Leigha Scharsch2025-09-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had an amazing time at both the day 1 and day 2 cornering class! Learned a lot more than I would have thought, grateful for Coach Can as he taught us things that typical riding classes wouldn’t and didn’t sugar coat!! Looking forward to day 3!! Thank you Superbike-Coach Corp!!!! Day 3 came and went, Can and his team have such a great way of teaching and guiding us where you don’t feel judged even if you and the coach know you could do better. It’s a sense of pride where you want to get better by practicing. I never once felt like “I can’t do this” while yes some of the exercises I was thinking to myself, is this possible? Absolutely!!! The only thing stopping you is yourself, get out there, do some classes & have fun!! Up next? Track Rookie Day!! My son and I have been riding for a bit over a year commuting every day. I have done a track day with some instruction at Thunderhill West with a reputable provider. I’ve watched maybe a hundred hours of motorcycle YouTube (the good stuff, not the influencers) and read Keith Code and Lee Park’s books. That may sound reasonable and all, but we learned more about how to ride a motorcycle in the first two hours of class than all of the above put together. Literally, not figuratively. This class and Coach are what I was searching for. As Coach says “a book may explain what you should do, but it can’t tell you if you are actually doing it right”. Dozens upon dozens of laps on a tight technical track with multiple coaches circulating amongst the riders, following you as an individual rider through multiple corners, then leading you through entire laps. Not just one offs, but ALL DAY. The coach to participant ratio is bananas. Coaches that learn your name, care about you, and give you actionable feedback. They create an intimate environment that encourages organic community building, sets the tone for no ego/no posturing, simultaneously hilarious and deadly serious about the subject matter. Passionate about instruction? An understatement. A few times in my life I have been lucky to know people that are elite at doing and elite at teaching. Elite at anything is an achievement but at both? That’s Coach. 9/9/2025 update: I have now taken five classes with Coach and can't recommend him and his team highly enough. If you are on the fence, get off and sign up now. If you think you will be the worst one in the class, you might be right, but the support you'll get from Coach, his team and your classmates will put you at ease, and if you fully engage and put your trust in them, you quickly won't recognize yourself as a rider. After completing Cornering School Days 1, 2 and 3, along with the Suspension Workshop, my son and were chatting with each other saying "can you imagine riding a motorcycle and NOT having taken these classes?" I know it makes me sound like a crazy person, but it feels literally criminally unsafe to imagine folks out there riding without the skills you'll learn from Coach. True no matter what kind of motorcycle you ride, but especially true if you ride any kind of high performance motorcycle. It's like being unplugged from the Matrix. Eye opening does not begin to describe the experience. I thought in taking these classes, I would learn how to be more confident through corners on the street and track, and while that's exactly what I have gotten, I wasn't prepared for how cool (and radical) the skills are that add up to that kind of confidence. Everything I had hoped I would get out of the classes, I did, and yet they have helped me realize just how tall the mountain is, how far below base camp I truly am, and yet have shown me the path to climb to my max potential. I mentioned I took five classes, but only listed four different classes above, and that's not a typo. The fifth class I took is a repeat of Cornering School Day 1. In fact I plan to repeat all three days of Cornering School, and likely _more than once_. I met classmates who have been through all three days multiple times. Why would anyone do that? In short: these classes are THAT packed with information and experiential learning. It's not just the reps on track, these classes are that effective. The physical and psychological environment are that effective. Feeling your knowledge, skill set, confidence and as a result your pace on the track increase is that effective. Coach and his team are insanely motivating and they truly and deeply care about what they are doing and about their students. The man wears his heart on his sleeve, and pours his entire heart and soul into what he is doing. So again, stop what you are doing and sign up for Cornering School Day 1 now. You quite literally won't recognize yourself on a motorcycle after. Finish what you started and learn emergency brake at full lean angle! 6/22/25 Update ThunderHill Track with Superbike Coach. Very well organized with controlled instructor to ensure safety for all. Got some great free pictures of knee dragging! Non competitive and meet great riders. 6/8/2025 Update Day 3 completed. Uber braking skill took my bike from a full lean to hard braking stoppie. Even ABS could not keep my rear wheel from getting some airtime. Great survival skill if you need to brake mid corner on the dime. 5/18/25 Update Day 2 completed. Awesome class and walked away with another survival skill “Uber Steering”. Imagine yourselves mid corner with full lean and the turkey is running across! No time to stand the bike up and brake. “Uber Steering” will take you from a full left (or right) lean to the opposite side. This can mean the difference between a lowside. Great if you like to make quick direction change without having to bring the back fully upright. Thank you Coach for another great survival (and fun) tool. 4/19/2025 Update Day 1 completed. Who knew you could pull a stoppie with ABS on! Emergency brake is a must have skill for any rider. Coach and his team really know their stuff. 3/9/2025 Update Day 3 completed (again). Imagine going around a blind corner at a full lean angle and having to perform an emergency stop within 1 bike lane! That is achievable with “Uber Braking”. A real life saving skill! 2/23/25 Update Day 2 completed and what a work out! Coach and his team were very knowledgeable and patient. We rode the track the “other way” around. It was a great exercise as I had to apply what I learned on day 1 (best line). Uber Steering takes your bike from a full left lean angle to a full right lean. Talking about a great survival skill if braking isn’t an option. I already signed up for day 3 and looking forward to it. Invest in yourself! 12/8/24 Update Day 3 completed was packed with even more amazing content. I walked away with a better understanding of trail breaking and controlling the ideal line with brake vs throttle control. coached saved the best for last as always with “Uber Braking”. Imagine going a blind corner at a full lean angle and a “white Prius” is dead stop mid corner. You don’t have room to steer anywhere however, with this new survival skill, I can come full lean to a complete stop within 1 bike length! 11/3/24 Update Just returned from Thunderhill Raceway that was organized by Superbike Coach. Coach Can went over critical material in between our 20 minutes track session. His team were on the track to monitor safety and showed us the race line like a personal one on one. You can't complaint about the complimentary professional pictures that makes you look like Marc Marquez. If you are looking to get into track or want to safely push your limit, then I recommend joining Superbike Coach track day. Update 1/14/2024 Repeated day 3 and again day 1 of cornering school with my Red Ducati. I am amazed at how much improvement I have made since I first started. Repeating is Key. I’m using most of my tire’s edge now and having so much fun on this little track. Don’t hesitate and make the drive/ride to see Coach Can. It’s a life saving experience! Update 6/23/24 Repeated day 3 again. It was well over 100 degrees and Coach was standing out there in the blazing sun to give us individual feedback. He also push himself to perform live demo run despite his recent injury. He is committed to ensure we become safe riders. If you are serious about improving your skill and getting personal feedback, then you must give Coach Can a try. You won’t find a better value from a pro rider willing to share his knowledge. I still remember the first day when I was in C group (white Ducati). I kid you not, I have now moved to “A” group (red Ducati) and able to keep up with some of them. My riding skill has improve by 200% and I still got a lot to learn. I’m using my body efficiently and reducing lean angle (safer) at right speed! The last time I received motorcycle instruction was an msf course 10 years ago, and I was looking for more skill progression than parking lot cones. I had a great time! The staff all care about your experience and ensuring you are learning. We arrived, grabbed breakfast (provided donuts) and got to learning. Coach's teaching style is honest and blunt, no sugar coating or undeserved praise. Classroom sessions required engagement from students which reinforced learning and kept attention. Track time was focused with instructor feedback. Track facilities aren't glamorous but I appreciated the tight track that was easily looped, clean bathrooms and shade for class. I left the course feeling more confident, with tips on adjusting my bikes controls which have paid off immediately, and much smaller "chicken strips" earned by better technique. I have already registered for cornering school day 2 and 3 and his track rookies class and look forward to them. Update after cornering day 2: Still a 5 star review. I wish I could give more than that as day 2 was even more enjoyable than day 1. Practicing day 1 technique on my own before heading into day 2 was worth the time and effort as it was expected that you build off those skills on day 2. Counter steering, one handed and "Uber" steering drills were eye opening and allowed for the concepts to sink in quickly. The kart track is still a great place to learn these skills and the team did a great job providing ample feedback. Coach Can is really passionate and his energy and attention make learning easier. Can't wait till day 3. Navneet Sinha2025-08-21Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just finished Cornering School Day 1, and I have nothing but praises for Coach Can and his team. He teaches you fundamental techniques that you get to try right-away. There was night and day difference between my first session out vs my last. The coaches are out there with you on the track, guiding you, helping you improve. Also, I absolutely love the direct, no bs method of knowledge sharing. Looking forward to the rest of the cornering school (and track) days!
