Superbike Coach , Where Passion Meets Precision Last weekend at Thunderhill Raceway was nothing short of spectacular. The October skies opened with that perfect blend of crisp air and sunshine, the kind of weather that makes riders grin beneath their helmets. The paddock buzzed with excitement as riders gathered, eager for the day ahead. We began with the riders’ meeting, a mix of energy, nerves, and anticipation, and from there, the day unfolded into a symphony of speed and skill. Superbike Coach, led by Coach Can and his phenomenal crew, once again delivered an experience that was equal parts education and exhilaration. My mission has always been clear: to become a better, safer rider. Thanks to Superbike Coach, that goal feels closer with every lap. Their guidance has elevated my riding in ways I couldn’t have imagined, sharper lines, smoother control, and a deeper understanding of track etiquette. Of course, I made mistakes, every rider does. But that’s where Coach Can shines. With laser precision, he spotted what I was doing wrong and corrected me immediately. His feedback wasn’t criticism; it was care. It reminded me that safety and improvement go hand in hand, and that’s one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back. I ride for the thrill, but I also ride to come home safe. The lessons I’ve learned from Superbike Coach have already paid off. Just recently, in a real-world emergency stop, my training kicked in without a thought. I stayed in control, avoided danger, and rode away calm and grateful. That moment alone was worth the cost of every class. Superbike Coach doesn’t just build riders, it builds community. It attracts good people, passionate souls who share the same respect for the sport and the same drive to improve. For that, I’m deeply thankful. If you ride, whether you’re new or seasoned, do yourself a favor and check out Superbike Coach. From track days to wheelie classes, body positioning, and supermoto training, they have something for everyone. Every event is a chance to grow, to learn, and to rediscover the joy of riding safely and skillfully. Thunderhill was amazing, but Superbike Coach made it unforgettable. Much Respect DPosted on Rachel GarvinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just bought a bike but never rode one before. Had 1:1 with Coach Can and I was riding, switching gears, doing corners in no time. His step-by-step instruction was perfect for a beginner and he provided lots of encouragement. So glad I made the trip out to Sacramento for this lesson! Was able to get on my own bike at home the next day!Posted on Fred FrithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just attended Track Rookie Class at Thunderhill with SuperBike Coach. It was an amazing time! If you are new to the track Coach Can and team break down step by step getting out on track while minimizing risk and maximizing fun.Posted on Riley O'ConnorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This a review of Day 1-3 Cornering Class TL:DR Skip the exhaust, take the class. This is it folks. This is hands down the best value for money you can spend for your motorcycle career. Other organizations charge several hundred dollars and only have you ride in a parking lot. Still others let you take classes on a race track, but they cost several thousand dollars. For the price (or less) of one exhaust system, you get a full three days of instruction on a real race track. Coach begins Day 1 with a speech about the motorcycle education system in America sets up motorcyclists to fail. We do not give adequate training, and thus so many people crash when they could have avoided it. This class will show you that you are not as good as you think, and you have a lot to learn. Here’s what coach taught me: Psychology:Talk to myself in my helmet. It helps you calm down and focus on your lines. Viewing techniques: I had no control over my vision before I started the class. With proper waypoint viewing techniques, you flow from one waypoint to the next and feel like you are riding the motorcycle instead of hanging on for dear life hoping you don't crash. Shifting and gear chose: Coach has you ride in a higher gear than you think you need. This makes the throttle response smoother and helps you concentrate because the bike is quieter and vibrating less. Ideal lines: Ideal lines keep the bike more upright. The less you lean, the safer you are. Relaxation and coolness: Coach tries to spook you. You have to be able to keep cool and focus on your lines no matter what is happening around you. When someone makes a left turn in front of you, riders who can stay cool will find the escape route. Riders who can’t will hit the car. Counter steering: It’s one thing to watch a countersteering video on YouTube. It’s another to put in practice. The bike feels so much better when you are steering it the way it was designed to. He will even show you how to steer the bike so fast it will scare you. Body positioning: This doesn’t matter much. Line choice matters much more. That being said, he will show you proper body position. If you want to get your knee down, he has a class for that. Emergency braking: This will save your life one day. Skip the rear brake. Use the front brake. Your bike can stop faster than you think it can, and, shocker, you can even emergency brake in a corner. I’m very slow and nervous on a race track. Coach was still patient and encouraged me along the way. I’m still slow, but I feel much more in control of my bike. I can go way faster before I outrun my tires or suspension. Again: skip the exhaust, take the class.Posted on Cole BickellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was an amazing and eye opening experience. I learned an incredible amount from Coach Can. Will be returning soon for cornering day 2! <3Posted on John RoganTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Going through a midlife crisis which Coach accurately diagnosed...and he was accordingly understanding, patient, and encouraging. Gave me some of his background, leveled with me, and gave appropriate direction and affirmation when it was warranted--and telling me to check my ego when that was warranted lol. Grateful for the great first experience on a bike and looking forward to the cornering class...and then more later >:)Posted on Masih BouriayeeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. One of the best classes I’ve ever taken. Headcoach Can broke down all the fundamentals of riding in depth, and gave us plenty of pointers to build our skills back up. Looking forward to the next class!Posted on Benjamin CascheraTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Coach Can and the entire staff are incredible. There is no question about the genuine excitement they feel when their students progress. There are few treasures in life that are more valuable than gold. Passion, Love, and wisdom are amongst the most precious and all three are clearly imparted from the staff to the students in every lesson.Posted on Juan RenteriaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I attend my first cornering class. To keep it short. The coach loves bikes and is deeply passionate about them. This class is not for the know it all. Come with an open mind and willingness to work hard at what he has to share. I will definitely be completing the cornering series and will very much like to participate in his upcoming track days. It was a pleasure meeting you coach and staff. I felt the love you have for this sport to my core. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’ll be back.Posted on Crystal WeaverTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I attended the cornering day 1 class and had a 1on1 with Coach and his daughter Jill. The cornering class had a lot of good information, coach and his team were very nice and helpful. This is a great place to start to grow your riding skills. My 1on1 was even better. I felt comfortable and Coach helped me to over come the mental blocks that were holding me back. His daughter Jill was very nice and knowledgeable as well. She helped me a lot with my lines and encouraging me. I feel like I walked away from these sessions with quality information and skills to keep growing on. I drove 6 hours for this class and I think it was worth the drive and money. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks Coach and Jill!Load more
