First, if you think you’re going to attend a three day course and become the next best moto GP rider, DO NOT…I repeat…DO NOT attend this class. Coach is fair but stern, he is extremely passionate about rider education and safety. I am a fairly new rider and I learned more in this 8 hour course than I did in my MSF course. I loved it so much I signed up for the rest of the classes. I don’t ride a sport bike (yet) I have a 2001 BMW R1150GS, for those of you that don’t know, that is a 24 year old adventure bike with a boxer engine. I was not treated any differently than other riders, I was still able to learn and enjoy the course, even got old Toodles to lean safer and deeper than I ever had before. Literally everyone is welcome if they have a license and a willingness to put pride at the door and open their minds. I can’t say enough about the staff and the course. The staff was friendly, humorous and patient, they went out on the track with us to lead by example then correct in real time. They even have an amazing photographer that take shots and video for you! I will be back for more and will become a repeat offender! I apply countersteering, trailbraking and other skills i learned to my every day riding. I am glad I discovered Superbike Coach. Thank you Coach for sharing your years of experience and teaching us. I am looking forward to taking more classes from you. I highly recommend Superbike Coach to all you new and old riders. I have done a track day with some instruction at Thunderhill West with a reputable provider. I’ve watched maybe a hundred hours of motorcycle YouTube (the good stuff, not the influencers) and read Keith Code and Lee Park’s books. That may sound reasonable and all, but we learned more about how to ride a motorcycle in the first two hours of class than all of the above put together. Literally, not figuratively. This class and Coach are what I was searching for. As Coach says “a book may explain what you should do, but it can’t tell you if you are actually doing it right”. Dozens upon dozens of laps on a tight technical track with multiple coaches circulating amongst the riders, following you as an individual rider through multiple corners, then leading you through entire laps. Not just one offs, but ALL DAY. The coach to participant ratio is bananas. Coaches that learn your name, care about you, and give you actionable feedback. They create an intimate environment that encourages organic community building, sets the tone for no ego/no posturing, simultaneously hilarious and deadly serious about the subject matter. Passionate about instruction? An understatement. A few times in my life I have been lucky to know people that are elite at doing and elite at teaching. Elite at anything is an achievement but at both? That’s Coach. c9 92025-07-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had to edit. Coach Can taught me all the basics in just two 1on1 sessions. If you wanna learn fresh then Superbikes got it for you. For the price, I’ll definitely come back to learn more if i ever had to choose. Thank you Coach Can for the experience. Jennifer Grubbs2025-07-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had cornering class with coach this weekend and let me tell you…. The most amazing, No bullshit class everyone should experience. It’s like motorcycle bootcamp! No matter your experience, you can learn new things along with his many other specific classes he does. I plan on going to the 2nd and 3rd class but be ready for them to be sold out! May even take the day one again just for more practice and for the price you cant beat it! Murat Maral2025-07-04Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. In general, I was very pleased with everything, and I’d like to thank Can and the entire team. There was just one instance where a certain team member’s attitude bothered me a little, but I’m turning that into motivation. Instead of being a ‘black sheep,’ I’ll strive to be a ‘black wolf’ and will work very hard towards that. Vincent Gov2025-07-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just finished their track rookie school, which I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to start riding track. It was a low pressure way of getting into the sport. The day began with riders meeting which included everyone from every rider group. This is where Coach set the rules for the day. He seems very serious about safety giving plenty of warning to people about doing reckless things. Then there were four riding sessions before lunch and three riding sessions after lunch. After each riding session, there were class sessions to retrospect on how we did and to get further guidance on the track lines and riding technique. The coaches and staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. I was probably the slowest person on the track but I didn’t feel shamed or anything. I met some other friendly attendees as well. There was a guy in B group who flew in from Texas just to attend the class. We ended up sharing the same rental bike. He helped take care of refueling since the tank would be empty by the time he was up to ride. I really should’ve topped it off after my ride for him but since I had classroom right after each ride, it didn’t occur to me at the time. Sorry pal, that was really bad etiquette. We rode on Thunderhill West track which is a two mile technical track. It resembled the lower part of Hwy 9 which is where I’m trying to build more confidence on. October 2024 Excellent structure, excellent teaching, excellent interpersonal interaction, and a great time to top it off. This is the course you've been looking for. Sign up now! June 2025 Since the above post, I've attended Superbike Coach courses 6 more times: Body Positioning & Knee Down, Track Drill 1-on-4 coaching, Supermotard 1-on-1, Supermoto Class & Race, Wheelie Course, and a Track Day. For a grand total of 7 courses starting back in October of 2024 (Wheelie Course twice). I've learned a lot. As I thought I knew it all, let's say, I learned the right way. After decades of motorcycling both dirt and pavement, I've humbly relearned to accurately: enter and exit corners, figure out the fast line (this changes per track: bike to bike, and even after tuning same bike), trail brake into corners, utilizing braking like the Pros do, short shifting, and much more. With all these improvements, I was able to secure very respectable times at my Track Day last Sunday, June 22nd at Thunder Hill West. Currently, I'm planning another Track Day. This time at Laguna Seca - this is Bucket List stuff. I wouldn't have been able to do this without the phenomenal coaching provided by the Superbike Coach staff and mostly Superbike Coach himself. I'm also planning on reserving more courses: Cornering School Days 1-3; I'll repeat: Track Drill 1-on-4 coaching, Supermotard 1-on-1, Supermoto Class & Race, to continue refining my abilities. All of this has been possible due to the Super Affordability of the Superbike Coach Program. The entire Superbike staff are among the best people I've met in this life. They all have your back. All courses become a very fun events, feeling like you're with family. Give your life an improvement. Take these courses and take them now. You know you want to. Life is about doing the things that might scare you a little. tom short2025-06-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a great day at Thunder Hill West with Superbike Coach. I think what I liked most was the family-like atmosphere that Coach creates among the staff and attendees. Really nice people all around. And he runs a very safe and well-organized trackday. We got seven sessions in among three groups and it all ran so smoothing - on time, no dramas. Also, there is a very strong focus on learning, so even if you didn’t sign up for a class you can still talk with Coach or the other instructors/control riders and even get some on-track help from them during your sessions. Highly recommend this, particularly for first-timers, especially those who might be a bit hesitant about doing a track day. Ive been driving from Reno to Stockton a few times and year to take classes from Coach. Never have I ever felt disappointed at the end of a day with coach. Every class is full of knowledge to be learned. Ive been riding for 45yrs now and im still learning every time I throw a leg over a machine.
