The Track We’re Using
The Stockton Little 99 Raceway is an ideal place to learn with challenges mimicking public roads. It provides a forgiving environment, and the track layouts can be adjusted for added challenges. The classroom area is perfectly arranged to enhance rider skills and safety.
Unlike regular track days lacking step-by-step instruction and content, our Cornering School Program offers detailed guidance for both street and track riders. Plus, there are also NO track fees, NO bike preparation, and NO track gear required.
How It Works
This is a full-day class, but the program is extensive and too much to cover in a single day. We’ve extended it to three days to delve into more comprehensive subjects. Along with substantial riding techniques, you’ll also enjoy more time on our fantastic track for increased challenges and fun!
With plenty of dates, you can choose and settle subjects while we are able to monitor your progress over an extended timeline. We do sideline or on-bike coaching at the Little 99 Raceway, accommodating everyone’s pace.
Tons of eye-opening demos and drills will boost your confidence over the three days, going beyond physical riding skills to enhance your mental coolness, performance and safety.
Commitment Bonus
If you prove your commitment by signing up for Cornering Day 1, 2 and 3 same time- we’ll give you a discount.

Frequently Asked Questions
I’m nervous about riding on a race track. Should I be?
No. This is not a race and it is not about speed. The track is simply the safest and most effective environment to learn and practice cornering techniques without the hazards of public roads
Do I need full track gear?
No. Proper street riding gear is sufficient. Your gear should provide appropriate protection, but there are no track-specific gear requirements for this program.
Do I need to prepare my motorcycle for the track?
No. Unlike many track events, there are no special motorcycle preparation requirements for the Cornering School. Simply bring a mechanically sound motorcycle and you’re ready to ride.
Can I start with Day 2 or Day 3?
No. Day 1 is the foundation of the program, and each day builds on the skills learned previously. Students must complete the preceding day before advancing.
Do I need track experience?
Not at all. Most of our students are street riders, and many have never ridden on a track before. The Cornering School is specifically designed to teach riders at their own pace in a controlled environment.
Is this only for sportbike riders?
No. We welcome riders on sportbikes, cruisers, touring motorcycles, adventure bikes, standards, and more. Cornering skills are universal and apply to every motorcycle category.
Will faster riders be mixed with beginners?
Riders are evaluated and grouped according to pace and experience. This allows everyone to learn comfortably and safely, whether you’re a brand-new rider or a highly experienced one.
Why do you use a smaller race track?
Because repetition is learning. The layout allows riders to practice cornering techniques over and over again in a short period of time, helping skills develop faster than they would on a larger circuit.
What if I’ve been riding for many years already?
Experience does not always equal technique. Many experienced riders discover habits that limit their confidence, safety, or performance. The program is designed to help riders of all levels improve.
Can I rent a motorcycle?
Yes. Rental motorcycles are available for students who need one (worried about your bike, long travel, etc). Rental options can be selected during the booking process.
What should I bring?
Bring your motorcycle, riding gear, a full tank of gas, water, and a willingness to learn. Most importantly, come with an open mind and be prepared to challenge long-held riding habits.
How much riding time do I get?
A lot. The program combines classroom instruction, demonstrations, drills, and extensive track time throughout the day, giving riders plenty of opportunities to apply what they learn.
