Superbike-Coach Track Days at Thunderhill Raceway 2026

I am more than thrilled to announce our track days at Thunderhill Raceway for 2026, and what we are planning to do.

As you may know meanwhile, our track days are made for the low experienced- or even brand new track riders. A non-competitive environment for all our students and other riders to join. The numbers are telling the story about how we handle things. While other track day organizers are having 3 crashes PER group in average- we have 3 per day! In fact, at our last track day, we had only ONE!

So how we do this part, won’t change at all. But there is quite some stuff that will change for our set track days on 10/31/2026 and 11/1/2026:

  • We do weekend track days! So you can either do Saturday, Sunday, or extend the fun with us and do both.
  • Early bird ticket sale is on right now, and bundle discount for doing both as well.
  • Overnight camping is INCLUDED. You could arrive on Friday evening already and have a BBQ with the Superbike-Coach team.
  • This time, we’ll have THREE level groups: B+, B and C group.
  • Experienced instructors will be available to work with you on the track.
  • Our Track Rookie class will be available for C riders on Saturday as an optional add-on!
  • Our Track Academy will be available for B+ riders on Sunday as an optional add-on!
  • Superbike-Coach mobile track classroom The clubhouse will be hosting these two classes, but our ‘Mobile Track Classroom’ trailer will be central part in the paddock over the weekend. Thomas of Carson Pass RV will be there as well, and I’m sure you’ll have something to look at there.
  • Besides planned raffle prices- we plan on doing something in the night from Sat to Sun :-)
  • We’ll have the Pirelli tire service truck there over the weekend, who are also able to do smaller repairs.
  • Besides that we have rental bikes for all groups- The guys from Rent-E-Motos will be there, to offer their amazing electronic motorcycles for rent.
  • Jorge, from 31 Cats, is offering his bike transport and hospitality services for the weekend, so make sure you check that out early enough.

There is more in the planning, but I can’t go into details at this time. All in all- this is going to be an unforgettable experience which I hope you are not going to miss out. Go use the early bird and bundle discounts as long they are active!

Can’t wait :-)

he Superbike-Coach mobile classroom is finally all done.

Tony from WrapSpec in Rancho Cordova CA could finish up the vinyl wrap, just like the way we wanted it. The colors are amazing, and the gray, which btw is called ‘Battleship Gray’, pops in the sun. The toy hauler has become a head-turner. WrapSpec do cars and motorcycle vinyl wraps, so go check em out.

Coach’s Panigale V4R, called ‘Pazzo’, was safely secured via Moto Cinch strapless tie-down systems. The team was fairly nervous about it because the road to Laguna Seca Raceway is rough at times. Moto Cinch delivers, and we’ll review it in another video soon.

Unfortunately, the Superbike-Coach team had to go without Thomas of Carson Pass RV, but John joined us to make sure that everything will be working fine and well setup with the RV. We arrived at the campsite and stayed there for a few days till we could move down into the paddock for a Track Drill 1on4.

Everything went smooth besides some video/laptop/TV issues, which we’ll have to figure out later. The students enjoyed a entirely cooled classroom during a hot day at Laguna.

We are making huge progress with the Superbike-Coach mobile classroom. However, Tony from Wrapspec has still a view things to do and we don’t want to reveal this toy hauler before the vinyl wrap is all done. Coach is preparing for a Track Drill 1on4 at Thunderhill Raceway on the weekend, and decided to take the track classroom to the test.

That requires, to have a solution on how to transport his Panigal V4R, called ‘Pazzo‘, in the trailer to the track. His main goal is- to get rid of tie-down straps and to minimize. There are a strapless motorcycle tie-down systems out there, but they are way out of an acceptable price range as well as not practicable enough for Superbike-Coach. The one that peeked out for us is made by Moto Cinch.

Originally constructed for dirt bikes, but they also developed street and race bike versions. Since they are light weight, compact and seem to install in an blink of an eye- Coach decided to give them a shot, so here we are. The pre-work was done by Carson Pass RV in Lockeford, who installed necessary eTrack rails into the 13 foot garage of the trailer. The measurements taken from the bike is simple, and then to determine where exactly bike will be placed in that garage. Ones elocuted, the boys installed the rails right under the rear sets. The Moto Cinch kit comes with single etrack floor mounts, but we went with 2 foot long rails to stay more flexible. Not just that- we thought 14 bolts will stay more in place than only 4.

Coach had some help today from assistant coaches Chris Baird and Dean Lonskey. The boys figuring it all out during taking of this video, but please stay tuned.

This is the 7th part of the video series ‘Toy hauler travel trailer customization and transformation to a mobile track classroom’.

We are dropping the trailer off to Tony at WrapSpec in Rancho Cordova where it gets its full vinyl wrap. There are a few hurdles to take, just because of its size. It’s gonna be quite challenging for Tony’s boys to work in a tight space, so let’s see how they handle it. Please subscribe the channel to not to miss out this exciting series of videos.

This is the 6th part of the video series ‘Toy hauler travel trailer customization and transformation to a mobile track classroom’. Tony from WrapSpec came over to take measures for the full vinyl wrap, but there is still some stuff we can do before the rig goes to Rancho Cordova. Cleaning the roof of a travel trailer that big is a challenge for Coach, but he made it.

This is the 5th part of the video series ‘Toy hauler travel trailer customization and transformation to a mobile track classroom’. We’ve made huge progress. The rough cleaning process is almost done and installations and upgrades are about to be done. Tony from WrapSpec came over to take measures for the full vinyl wrap. We could lay out a time schedule to get it all done in his shop in Rancho Cordova.

The Superbike-Coach team got invited by Thomas Shurtz, owner of Carson Pass RV- to ride up to Auburn.
Thomas is looking at acquiring a motorcycle shop in that town, and the SBC team is going to support that dream.
I thought, you might want to join us to not just check the place out- but to also do some twisties riding with us after all in the Foothills.
Thomas will pay lunch for everyone as well, so if you want to join us- here’s the data:
• Date: Saturday 7/19/2025
• Meeting point: Cycle Gear Sacramento (5400 Date Ave, Sacramento, CA 95841)
• Meetup time: 10:00am (We’ll leave there at 10:30am!!!)

Gonna be fun.
