Your Cornering Day 1 class on 6/14/2026: Important Info
Thank you for your trust and to sign up for a Superbike-Coach class. You should have received booking confirmation email and text from our booking system. You may or may not found a link to your ‘Student Portal’.
You Need To Do Now
- Did you sign the waiver already? If not- please do it now. This saves you a lot of time at registration in the morning.
- Did you fill the evaluation form? Please do this immediately as this is needed to create skill level orientated groups for class.
- You will also find the QR code in the Student Portal, which you will need to show on your phone for us to scan at registration.
Travel & Location
Do not follow the address on Google. It may leads you to Stockton 99. You are looking for ‘Little 99 Raceway‘ at the Fairgrounds in Stockton.
- Use Google maps to prepare for an arrival at 8:30am.
- If you want to stay overnight before or after class- the only place we could recommend is the ‘Hotel at the Waterfront‘ in Stockton, as this one is gated.
To Prepare
Your Student Portal also informs you in regard riding gear for class, so please make sure you comply.
- You don’t have to prepare your motorcycle for class at all, just make sure it’s technically sound and safe.
- Make sure you start the class with a full gas tank. There is a gas station right across our track.
- Lunch: Bring either way your own lunch- or join a collective lunch order (bring some cash or pay via Venmo on sight).
Upon arrival at 8:30am
Please walk right up to registration and have your cell phone showing the QR code.
- After checking in- unload/park your bike in line and gear up.
- Find your place in the classroom where you will receive your first briefing.
Lookout
- At this point- you might want to go reserve your Cornering Day 2 spot as we always book up.
- Cornering Day 3 will be fulfilling this program, so do not wait too long to secure your spot for this as well.
- Other SBC programs can be done ‘in-between’, so look into our Suspension Workshop, Wheelie Courses, Body Positioning classes and Track Days at Thunderhill Raceway.
- We always have copies of Coach Can’s ‘Mind Over Machine‘, in case you want to snag one with a signature- or bring your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
I’m nervous about riding on a race track. Should I be?
No. This is not a race and it is not about speed. The track is simply the safest and most effective environment to learn and practice cornering techniques without the hazards of public roads
Do I need full track gear?
No. Proper street riding gear is sufficient. Your gear should provide appropriate protection, but there are no track-specific gear requirements for this program.
Do I need to prepare my motorcycle for the track?
No. Unlike many track events, there are no special motorcycle preparation requirements for the Cornering School. Simply bring a mechanically sound motorcycle and you’re ready to ride.
Will faster riders be mixed with beginners?
Riders are evaluated and grouped according to pace and experience. This allows everyone to learn comfortably and safely, whether you’re a brand-new rider or a highly experienced one.
Can I rent a motorcycle?
Yes. Rental motorcycles are available for students who need one (worried about your bike, long travel, etc). Rental options can be selected during the booking process.
Drop additional questions in the comment section below. You maybe find other students there for a pool ride etc.
Thanks again for choosing Superbike-Coach. This is going to be a great learning experience, and I am thrilled to get to meet you. We’re going to see you in class soon!
