As announced, I decided to get the Track Academy back to Little 99 Raceway where it belongs.

The reason is simple… we can’t do drills and demos at Thunderhill Raceway. Even if we could, we wouldn’t be able to pull this off within time given. What does this also mean for you?…

  • Superbike-Coach Track Academy

    It’s cheaper

  • Pace is not that high = confidence
  • Possible pain and damage = way lower
  • Demos
  • Drills
  • Less headcount = more personal attention
  • Higher repeating frequency = learn effect

If this still doesn’t convince you, then I really don’t know what else to say. Doing this program will get you what you are seeking when doing track days actually. Think twice!

Next class is on 10/19/2024. Go for it.

Headcoach Can Akkaya, Superbike-Coach Corp

Our 1st Supermoto race class is coming up on 10/6/2024, and I’m very excited about it. So if you have a Supermoto bike, no matter what size, then you need to read and join this.

Riding Supermotos and such bikes are getting more and more popular. Yes, we offer the Supermoto 1on1 program for a long time, but we’ve decided to actually do an entire class per year because it’s just too much fun. A Supermoto is a total different breed, and so is the class. It’s gonna be wild, so you better buckle up because at the end of the class we also do some heats and a race.

Supermoto class and race with Superbike-CoachSuitable to

  • Street and track riders who have a any kind of Supermoto bike
  • At least intermediate level or went through our Cornering program
  • Riders who want to learn Supermoto style
  • Want to learn to backing-it-in and to pass
  • Want to do a race (a bucket list thing for some)

What You Get

The Stockton Little 99 Raceway is a perfect place to run such class. The high repeating frequency leads to quick improvements. The student headcount is a little less than in all other classes and we’ll have a EMT, which explains the slight higher ticket price. This high paced class will conclude in fun heat races, where students can put to use what they’ve learned in a controlled environment that respects their fellow students, where we keep hooligans in check. Now how cool’s that?!

Riding a Supermoto is a total different approach, so you’ll learn specific lines- body positioning- shifting-  backing-it-in and passing. Furthermore body positioning, lines and viewing technique, passing and race strategies are subjects as well as learning to start from the grid before you’ll line up for a heat race and to qualify for the final.

Don’t wait to grab a spot because we’re doing this class only once per year.

In this episode, the Panigale V4R gets a BT Tune. Brenn prepared a specific tune to cover all modifications of the bike. Furthermore, a lot of issues had to be worked on:

  • Lower gear throttle torque limiters removed
  • Deceleration fueling strategy adjusted
  • Faster quickshifter 1:1 throttle response
  • First gear RPM limiter changed
  • Refined per-cylinder tuning
  • Maximum throttle monitor threshold raised
  • Knock control system revised

Coach Can Akkaya is going to make a test install and back to standard for Laguna Seca, where he will test the difference.

In todays video Coach Akkaya is working and explaining tire install and about his choice in regard tire type. The Pirelli Diabolo race tires give him latest tire technology and flexibility in regard geometry of the Panigale V4R.
