I am 51, and have minimal riding experience from many years ago and none of it safe or sane. I’m good with my head and my heart. Imagine my surprise when I learned that if I wanted to succeed in class, I needed to get OUT of my head, and trust my body’s connection with the bike. I think I was majorly re-wired yesterday!
If nothing else, watching MotoGP takes on a completely new dimension when you’ve practiced some of those same core skills. Great atmosphere in class, great course content, perfect organization and most of all, top quality coaching.
I loved Can’s no nonsense teaching style, he was clear and articulate. His focus on the psychology and working through my mental blocks were incredibly helpful.
We were talking so the coach told us to “shut the **** up” , then I said loudly “yeah Ryan , shut the **** up “, and coach decided teach me a lesson “snitches do push ups ” lololol
You opened my eyes up to a lot of things with riding… I have lots to learn and you’re the only coach that can do it!
I personally enjoyed the way the coach can schedule the track time with class instruction breaking it up. I was physically fatigued at the end of each track session. After having short classroom time allowed me to recover so I could go back out and give 100% without being fatigued.
Taking his class is an excellent investment. The thing is, you don’t know what you don’t know. It turns out, even after all these years I rode away with skills that I know have made me faster, more knowledgeable, more precise, and safer.
