He’s a no BS guy, and he’s not going to spoon feed you the answer to every question you have for the simple reason that riding a motorcycle well is ultimately learned through experience, not in a classroom
Based on my observation, Coach Can coach all levels of riders well. Beginning to advanced, timid to fearless.
Coach Can helped me overcome my fears and showed me that I wasn’t close to the bikes limit yet. After the body position lesson and tips, I was finally able to hang off and drag knee for the 1st time.
The low speed allows you to concentrate on what you have to do and hone those techniques … you can then hit the big track at full speed and apply
Coach could immediately see the fear and trepidation I had after my warm-up laps on the track, when I removed my helmet and my eyes were as big as saucers! He was able to really hone in on what my fears were and give me advice that targeted MY issues
I found the smaller track to be key for personalized instruction. There’s no special setup needed for your bike, no special gear beyond standard armored attire, and it’s super affordable.
What Coach Akkaya said made a lot of sense in my mind, but it was hard for me to apply on the track. I noticed that I did not brake hard enough to stop the bike quickly.
