Taking his class is an excellent investment. The thing is, you don’t know what you don’t know. It turns out, even after all these years I rode away with skills that I know have made me faster, more knowledgeable, more precise, and safer.
You also learn at your own comfortable pace! All the other students are very curteous, so you don’t have to worry about being to slow (or fast) for the other students. It’s YOUR class.
Each explanation of a technique is followed by a short practice session. I always come away with more confidence in myself as well as my bike
My wide was a worried going into it–her last track experience wasn’t helpful and scared her quite a bit (being lapped by much faster riders), but her fears faded immediately and we both had a blast and learned a ton on our bikes!
Coach can be very blunt, but he is right to the point and doesn’t waste a of time. Don’t let that fool you, though. He’s a good natured guy who also loves to have fun and gets a lot of pleasure out of seeing people improve, and he has put a lot of work into his classes.
